"King Wilkie's Dream is a talented bluegrass band that has a wonderful energy and unique ability to engage the crowd - so happy to have them back with us again For Music In The Barn!"

“I reached out to King Wilkie’s Dream for our first grand opening in Minnesota. During the times they performed, we kept receiving complements on the music and even had customers take a minute to listen to the music. King Wilkie’s Dream had a big part in setting the mood and making our grand opening a HUGE success! I will definitely ask them to come back and play at our stores.”

"King Wilkie's Dream is an exquisite bluegrass band. Each member is an accomplished musician who brings their own talents to the group. From the vocals to the instrumentals, this band brings a heartfelt love of this music to every arrangement. Not just doing rehashed versions of classic bluegrass songs, they have sought out the lesser known gems in the genre and use them to showcase their talents. It is evident in every song. Intricate arrangements are worked out, not just for the sake of being artsy, but to enhance the listener's enjoyment of the song. Add to this original songs and tunes and you have a fine mix that shows their respect for the classics, while adding to the genre. Soulful, bluesy, rootsy are only a few adjectives that apply to this group. Fun and entertaining. Don't miss this group!

- Doug Lohman of Armadillo Sound and Design

King Wilkie's Dream was a real crowd pleaser. They sound great, whether they're doing bluegrass or pop country or even a gospel song. That versatility in their repertoire makes them a group fun to listen to for a whole show.

"On August 8th, 2015, my daughter was married in Duluth, Minnesota.  We hired King Wilkie's Dream to play at the reception.  My daughter wanted a bluegrass band that not only could play wonderful music that would encourage our guests to contra dance but also play sets that could be enjoyed from their tables while visiting with old friends and family.  We had also hired a caller and even though the caller and band had never performed together before, they blended seamlessly together.  I don't know if I've ever seen so many people on a dance floor at one time as I did that night.  The music was superb and the atmosphere was charged with electricity and fun.  I could sing the praises of King Wilkie's Dream all day.  They are a professional, talented group of musicians."
